• Responsible for prosecuting and evaluating cases involving mortgage fraud, counterfeiting, embezzlement, tax evasion, insurance fraud and theft of government resources, including welfare, unemployment insurance, worker’s compensation and Social Security. 

 

Appeals and Legal Affairs Bureau, Senior Appellate Counsel, September 2014 to September 2016 

• Successfully argued before the New York State Court of Appeals in June of 2016. 

• Drafted approximately sixty appellate briefs to the Appellate Division, Third Department; 

• Drafted appellate briefs to the New York State Court of Appeals; 

• Conducted nearly twenty oral arguments before the New York State Appellate Division

• Managed and supervised four Assistant District Attorneys responsible for prosecuting the largest misdemeanor and violation caseload in Albany County; Conducted preliminary hearings and screened felony cases for merit.
