  • Responsible for investigating and prosecuting felony level offenses, including burglaries, robberies, assaults, homicides, drug sales and illegal firearm possessions. 

  • Responsible for training and advising Assistant District Attorneys and handling the overall administration, direction, and management of the Office.

Attorney for Public Safety Portfolio and Research, March 2020 to March 2021 

  • Focused on addressing and advising Public Safety Agencies, such as the New York State Police, Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Commission on Corrections, and the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services on the State’s repeal of Civil Rights Law Section 50-a.

  • Responsible for investigating and prosecuting all illegal firearm related arrests, including burglaries, robberies, assaults, homicides, drug sales and possessions. 

 

Financial Crimes Bureau, Senior Assistant District Attorney, September 2016 to November 2016 

  • Responsible for prosecuting and evaluating cases involving mortgage fraud, counterfeiting, embezzlement, tax evasion, insurance fraud and theft of government resources, including welfare, unemployment insurance, worker’s compensation and Social Security. 

 

Appeals and Legal Affairs Bureau, Senior Appellate Counsel, September 2014 to September 2016 

  • Successfully argued before the New York State Court of Appeals in June of 2016. 

  • Drafted approximately sixty appellate briefs to the Appellate Division, Third Department; 

  • Drafted appellate briefs to the New York State Court of Appeals; 

  • Conducted nearly twenty oral arguments before the New York State Appellate Division 

 

Albany City Court- Bureau Chief, July 2013 to September 2014 

  • Managed and supervised four Assistant District Attorneys responsible for prosecuting the largest misdemeanor and violation caseload in Albany County; Conducted preliminary hearings and screened felony cases for merit.
